Our 2023 Journey: A Year of Collaborative Impact
The year 2023 was a testament to the power of community and collaboration. At Noble Humanitarian Missions, we focused on building and strengthening connections, raising awareness, and bringing people together to amplify our collective impact. Through strategic collaborations and the incredible generosity of diaspora communities, we extended our reach and delivered large-scale, life-changing aid to those in need. We are profoundly grateful to every volunteer, partner, and supporter who made this widespread collaboration a reality.
2023: From Community Action to Tangible Results
This year was defined by key strategic events that broadened our support network and enabled us to deliver critical aid consistently throughout the year.
Our Action: Community Events &
Collaborations
We amplified our mission through strategic outreach and connection. These collaborations highlight the immense generosity of the Ethiopian diaspora community.
JULY
Our outreach efforts in July were a resounding success. We were thrilled to be interviewed by VOA Amharic, an opportunity that allowed our founder, Mr. Thomas Selasie, to share our mission on a global platform. He emphasized our dedication to providing unwavering support to the least fortunate, reminding everyone that “At Noble, we remain dedicated to providing unwavering support with a sense of responsibility and unwavering commitment.”
That same month, our involvement in the 40th Annual ESFNA 2023 was a major highlight. We had a wonderful time at our booth, where we connected with the younger generation and numerous generous attendees. The donation and awareness campaign went smoothly, and we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our dedicated volunteers and contributors who helped make the festival such a success.
SEPTEMBER
In September, Noble Humanitarian Missions and the Ethiopian community in Seattle, Washington, teamed up for our second donation campaign for Mekedonia. This targeted effort focused on collecting much-needed boxed adult diapers and was a powerful reminder of how a community can come together for a specific, urgent cause. The campaign successfully ran until the end of the month, thanks to the support of many caring individuals.
The Results: Life-Changing Deliveries
The generosity of our supporters translated directly into action. These missions represent successful logistics and the consistent delivery of large-scale aid.
JULY
Our mission took a major step forward in July with the successful delivery of 29 pallets of essential items to Mekedonia. These supplies, which included adult diapers, gloves, Ensure, bed sheets, and other medical materials, were generously donated by Ethiopians residing in the Seattle area. We are deeply grateful to all the kind-hearted donors and everyone who helped facilitate this significant and impactful delivery.
DECEMBER
We concluded the year with another major achievement: the successful delivery of 17 pallets of vital medical and sanitary supplies. This shipment, which included wheelchairs, medical gloves, adult diapers, crutches, walkers, and medical beds, was compassionately collected and donated by the Ethiopian diaspora in Seattle, Vancouver, Washington, and Portland. This collaborative effort was made possible through a strong partnership with Ethiopian Airlines, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our devoted donors and volunteers for making this vision a reality.
