Our Story
Noble Humanitarian Missions (NHM) was founded from a deep personal calling. Our founder, Thomas Selassie, made a courageous decision to leave his corporate career to dedicate his life to serving the disadvantaged, alongside his wife’s, children’s, friends and family support. This courageous leap of faith into the unknown ultimately revealed a powerful truth: it was part of God’s greater plan. As everything began to fall into place, Thomas’s journey affirmed his purpose and inspired the creation of Noble Humanitarian Missions. Our guiding motto, “We are Called to Serve,” reflects our unwavering commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Today, Noble Humanitarian Missions is a global nonprofit organization recognized as a 501(c)(3) charity. Our mission is to unite individuals and businesses in support of grassroots humanitarian and development organizations in Ethiopia. We believe that sustainable change originates from local initiatives. By creating a global network of supporters, we facilitate material, financial, and technical assistance directly to local partners actively addressing underserved communities’ needs.
