Our 2022 Journey: A Year of Building Connections

The year 2022 was about strengthening our community and expanding our network. Noble Humanitarian Missions’ presence at key events throughout the year was vital for raising awareness, supporting our partners, and building the relationships that make our impactful work possible. We are proud to have shown that We are Called to Serve by showing up where our partners and supporters needed us most.

2022: From Community Action to Tangible Results

This year was defined by key strategic events that broadened our support network and enabled us to deliver critical aid consistently throughout the year.

Our Action: Community Events &
Collaborations

We believe in showing up where we are needed. It is by meeting our supporters that our mission truly comes to life.

JULY

Our team was thrilled to join our partner, Meseret Humanitarian Organization (MHO), at the 75th Annual Women’s Day service at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA. We were honored to witness the church’s Women’s Ministry present MHO with a generous donation of $1,250 to aid their mission of reducing vulnerability among children and women in Ethiopia. This event provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our partnership and the crucial work MHO does for women and children.

That same month, we were grateful for all the volunteers and supporters who came out for the ESFNA 2022 Event in College Park, Maryland. This event provided a powerful platform to support our partners, Mekedonia Homes and Meseret Humanitarian Organization. Our team on the ground worked tirelessly to connect with the broader community, share our mission, and raise awareness for the vital work of these organizations.

NOVEMBER

As the year came to a close, we looked ahead to our future mission. For Giving Tuesday, we shared our story of impact and invited supporters to be a part of our 2023 journey. We asked our network to continue their support by donating what they could, reminding everyone that with their help, we can extend our reach and help more people than ever before.

The Results: Life-Changing Deliveries

In 2022, our hard work, generous supporters, and dedicated partners translated directly into powerful, tangible impacts on the ground. This year was a testament to our consistency, as we successfully delivered essential supplies and resources to those who rely on our support.

JANUARY
&
FEBRUARY

We started the year with a significant delivery to our long-time partner, Mekedonia. In February, Noble Humanitarian Missions facilitated and delivered 720 cases of adult briefs along with five boxes of new clothing to the Mekedonia Home for the Elderly and Mentally Disabled in Addis Ababa. The briefs were funded by online donations from Mekedonia’s supporters across North America, as well as in-person donations from events. The new clothes were obtained through the generous connection of Artist Abby Lakew. This mission was a success thanks to our dedicated partners: Ethiopian Airlines, The Boeing Company, Medline Industries, Inc., ENG Transportation Inc., and Speedy Freight Carrier Inc.

JULY

Our partnerships led to a direct impact in July when Meseret Humanitarian Organization received a $1,250 donation from the Women’s Ministry at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA. This contribution was a direct result of our collaboration and shared mission, and it will be used to aid MHO’s vital efforts to reduce vulnerability among women and children in Ethiopia.

OCTOBER

Our year of action culminated with another major delivery. On October 28th, Noble Humanitarian Missions delivered the second container of 2022, a shipment of 35 bales of adult diapers, to the Mekedonia Center. We extend our sincere gratitude to all the donors, Medline Industries, and Ethiopian Shipping Line for making it possible to consistently reach the people who need us the most.
